"The Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Colorado held a Massing of the Colors ceremony November 4th, 2006 at the U.S. Air Force Academy.   Almost 50 people from eleven different lineage societies around the state attended.  Those societies participating included the following:  The National Society of the Sons of  the American Revolution, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, National Society of the Colonial Dames of America,  General Society of Colonial Wars, United Daughters of the Confederacy, General Society of Mayflower Descendants, The National Society of Children of the American Revolution,  National Society Daughters of Founders and Patriots of America,  National Society of Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims,  National Society Colonial Dames of the 17th Century, and The National Society of the Daughters of the American Colonists "

Welcoming Major Joseph A. Jackson as a new member to the Colorado Society, November 2006 Massing of the Colors. Major Jackson is now serving at Ft. Leavenworth, KS.
